You bring strategic capability alongside a firm grasp of financial operations, commercial acumen, and leadership. Experience in businesses with a $20$100M turnover will be highly regarded.The OpportunityWith a dynamic CEO and GM driving the business forward, we seek a strategic and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. This newly created position reports directly to the CEO and oversees two direct reports (Finance Manager and Accounts Payable), pivotal in directing our financial strategy, performance, and operational decision-making.Some key components of the role will include: Lead the finance team and oversee all financial operations and reporting. Provide daily financial insights to the CEO (WIP, revenue, forecasts, cash flow). Drive tax planning, business structuring, and M&A support. Manage compliance across BAS, payroll tax, super, ASIC, and audits. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting (P&L, cash flow, board packs). Support commercial decisions through pricing, tenders, contracts, and investment modelling.Experience Required Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a related field. CPA or CA qualification. Proven experience in strategic financial leadership, including M&A, investments, and tax planning. Broad financial expertise: P&L, compliance, risk, payroll, tax, insurance, and audit.
