This full-time, 9-month fixed-term contract role is to cover parental leave and offers the opportunity to provide exceptional operational and driver support, contributing to the success of our growing business.What you''ll be doingIdentifying and effectively managing all on-road incidents, duress situations and critical events that may prevent CDC drivers from meeting punctuality and reliability targets.Monitor radios and provide a timely response to drivers needing assistance on road, either due to a duress incident or some other major incident, in line with applicable Safe Operating Procedures and protocols.Provide succinct, clear and concise two-way communication with drivers in relation to on-road incidents.Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide up to date information on CDCs bus network conditions.Liaising with external stakeholders as required in relation to any on-road incidents.Ensure that duress events and incidents are appropriately reported to internal stakeholders and external authorities such as Victoria Police and Transit Police, Transport Safety Victoria, Councils and VicRoads, and community partners such as the Victorian Maori Wardens, within expected timeframes.Update and complete the Unplanned Events Register for all incidents and accidents.What we''re looking forDemonstrated aptitude for excelling, enthusiasm and leadership in the business.Ability to meet and exceed all KPI for the business.Competent at operating PTVs Bus Tracking System, CDCs Dynamics D365 and CDCs digital radio (Motorola TRBONet) application, along with a sound knowledge and experience of operational management.Skilled in planning, organising and unstructured problem solving.An ability to identify, develop and implement processes required for improvement within the business.Good written and verbal communication.Competent understanding of CDCs bus network routes and related roads.What we offerAt CDC Victoria Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
