Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are looking for a Financial Director with strong Aged Care experience to lead our ECCQ Finance operations, based in our corporate office in West End, Brisbane. As a member of the Executive, you will lead a small team and support your colleagues, the CEO and the Board with clear and timely financial information, financial modelling and oversight across funding agreements, risk and compliance within this not-for-profit organisation, including: Providing financial guidance & strategic advice to support executive decision-making Lead & develop a small diverse finance team to drive operational performance, and enhance services Overseeing all funding sources from tender process through to contract management, and final reporting requirements Costing & pricing, tender & grant application support Financial risk management & insurances Oversee accounting systems and process optimisation Interact with line managers as a business partner About you A suitable professional accounting qualification Proven experience in leading teams and ensuring accountability Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation Ability to use data analysis and forecasting models Track record of initiating cost optimisation, and making difficult decisions Experience within the Aged Care Sector is essential We will offer you Competitive remuneration including NFP salary structuring benefits Ongoing full-time role in a dynamic team environment Employee Assistance Program About the business Established in 1976, the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) has a long and proud history of contributing to the development of Queensland as a successful multicultural society.
