Join to apply for the Project Administrator - Construction role at McConnell Dowell.We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Administrator to provide administrative support to the Commercial and Finance functions, as well as overall site administration support to the Construction Delivery Team.The ProjectMcConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with design partners Mott McDonald, Arup, and Aurecon, have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, involving works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The project aims to improve safety and efficiency by removing and upgrading major crossings.The PositionReporting to the Commercial Lead, the role involves administrative duties supporting the commercial, finance, and construction delivery functions to ensure efficient project execution. The position is based at one of three project sites in metro-Adelaide, working in a construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the administration of payments supporting the Finance function.Support the Project Commercial team with commercial activities.Provide general administrative support to the Delivery Manager and construction team.Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, leave, and related data.Maintain site personnel rosters and coordinate flights and accommodations as needed.Skills and ExperienceRecent experience in an administration role, preferably within civil construction.Experience in a commercial or finance role, including accounts reconciliation.Working knowledge of Visio and Workbench.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.Ability to develop strong working relationships with staff.The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary. The role is based in Adelaide, South Australia. Applicants must be SA residents or willing to relocate at their own expense.
