This program supports people with a disability to navigate the world of employment. Your role works in conjunction with other team members, each fulfilling an important part in supporting people daily as they navigate life, find employment, and maintain employment. As an Employment Consultant, your responsibilities include:Engaging and developing relationships with clients to understand their needs.Supporting clients to explore and highlight their skills and abilities for employment.Providing regular check-ins, encouragement, guidance, and support.Identifying opportunities for upskilling, gaining work experience, volunteering, studying, or participating in workshops or group sessions. Additionally, you will complete administrative tasks to document clients'' progress in line with program funding and reporting requirements.About you This opportunity is available immediately. It suits someone with experience supporting people with a disability, seeking a career transition into a Monday-Friday, office-based support role. You should have solid computer skills, experience with administrative tasks, and effective time management.You are someone who can build rapport easily, adapt your communication style, and is genuinely passionate about community connection and helping others achieve their goals. Building relationships with clients and employer contacts is key.Your background might include delivering complex services, personal or family experience of disability, or experience in administration, recruitment, or human services, looking to work in the disability sector.The salary range for this role is between $62K-$69K plus 11.5% super, $18,550 salary packaging benefits, and Royal Rewards benefits.
