Your primary responsibility includes processing claims, ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines, supporting providers and participants with budget management, and providing excellent customer service.Key accountabilities include:Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Accurately record transactions in the plan management system, manage invoices, and troubleshoot payment discrepancies under direction. Perform routine data entry tasks in accordance with established procedures.Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports for participants to ensure effective fund utilisation.Client liaison: Respond to basic queries from NDIS participants, their families and providers to provide guidance on fund management. Assisting participants, their families and providers with queries regarding NDIS plans and funding allocations. Assisting to educate participants about their plan options.Compliance and Adherence to Policies: Ensure all processes adhere to Centacares policies, as well as accounting principles and regulatory standards, including NDIS guidelines. Always ensuring confidentiality and privacy of participant information.Supporting Other Team Members: Work closely with the Senior Manager Finance, the Plan Management Team Leader and other team members, providing administrative support as needed. Perform routine tasks and special projects as assigned to support overall NDIS operations.Performance measures: From time to time, you will be allocated a function in the Plan Management Team. The below performance measures are applicable to the function you are assigned. Wed love to hear from you!Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience, Skills & KnowledgePrior experience in NDIS Plan Management, finance, bookkeeping, or a related field (preferred).Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, pricing arrangements, and guidelines (or the ability to gain this understanding in a short period of time).Excellent numerical and data entry skills with attention to detail.Excellent people skills and the ability to consult effectively and professional with a diverse range of individuals.Ability to work independently in changing circumstances and adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity, maturity and initiative, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for clear and effective interaction with employees at all levels.Advanced computer skills in MS Office suite and ability learn new systems and applications, including NDIS software (currently Brevity).Proven ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment demonstrated in sharing information, supporting team priorities and ensuring open communication.Eligibility/other requirementsSuccessful completion of a National Crime Check.Successful completion of a NDIS Worker Screening CheckValid Australian Drivers Licence.Contact usHave questions before applying?
