As our Senior Backend Developer, you''ll be the technical cornerstone of our ambitious vision, crafting the robust systems that bring our cutting-edge gaming universe to life.This is where elite engineers meets boundless creativity.What will you do?Collaborate effectively with Creative, IT, Production, and Mocap teams.Self-manage daily workload, organising and delivering progress updates to teams.Develop, manage, and optimise backend solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and Blueprint nodes to assist team onboarding.Develop robust systems utilising Blueprint, Composure, and Widget (elements/ UI) interfaces that are scalable and executable in a packageCreate auto IP addresses to packagesWork with Live Link.Work with video inputs (SDI input cards including Black Magic, AJA, Genlock, Timecodes).Oversee and enhance database integration between frontend and backend systems.Implement runtime save/load systems.Provide expert-level debugging, performance optimization, memory management, and crash-log analysis.Develop backend solutions using C++, including custom plugins.Integrate and manipulate motion capture data within Unreal Engine.Work with motion capture systems (Vicon, Xsens, OptiTrack, Move.AI, Rokoko, etc.).What are we looking for?6-10+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.Advanced expertise in Unreal Engine''s Blueprint scripting system.Proven experience with Live Link, Composure, Widget creation, and UI development.Proficiency in backend C++ programming.Significant experience with performance optimization, debugging, and system testing.Self-starter with a willingness to expand your understanding of the role and take on new responsibilities as your skill set increases.Qualifications:Practical industry experience is mandatory;
