This role involves working at the forefront of defence industry transformation, collaborating with international partners, and leading a high-performing team to achieve long-term national outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of the Virginia Class Sustainment supplier qualification strategy.Develop and maintain planning frameworks for Vendor Qualification initiatives.Provide strategic advice to executive leadership.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with national objectives.Manage resources across initiatives to optimise impact.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Contribute to the broader supply chain strategy as part of the Leadership Team.About YouTertiary qualifications in supply chain, engineering, business, or related fields; project management qualifications are highly desirable.Minimum 10 years experience in engineering quality, supplier qualification, or business leadership.Strong understanding of Australian defence industry and government initiatives.Proven leadership of diverse, high-performing teams.Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and supplier qualification.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience in defence, shipbuilding, or heavy industry is highly desirable.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.
