We are excited to offer a temporary Administrative Officer position within our FNQ Vocational Academy team.The administration role will be based at TAFE cairns Campus, and will play a vital part in the efficient management of the academy. You will ensure that students have the necessary tools and support to successfully graduate and prepare for their future.The role is available to commence ASAP for 3days per week and required to be worked Wednesday to Friday in 2025. This role is offered at 0.49 FTE and 36 hours per fortnight, until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.About Trinity Bay State High School Vocation AcademyFNQ Vocational Academy is an exciting regional initiative between TAFE Queensland Cairns, the Department of Education, and the Department of Trade, Employment and Training.The program allows students to study for their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) as well as two Vocational Education and Training qualifications while at high school.FNQ Vocational Academy aims to provide students with real world'' skills to gain a head start in the workforce. This is achieved by placing a strong emphasis on work placement and giving students opportunities to seek an apprenticeship or traineeship while completing senior schooling.Commencing a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship with FNQ Vocational Academy allows school subjects, such as Maths and English, to be timetabled around work placement and training.
