An opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst to join this team as one of its founding members. In this role, you will work closely with Corporate Development team members to evaluate acquisition opportunities, conduct research, and support the valuation of Iglu''s properties and management platform.What you will doThe tasks include, but are not limited to:Assist in building, maintaining, and improving investment financial models under the guidance of senior team members.Support the Corporate Development in evaluating acquisition opportunities, preparing investment approvals, and updating models during the project lifecycle.Conduct research and compile documentation on market conditions across PBSA, Co-Living, debt & equity, and construction sectors to contribute to investment analyses.Support the valuation of Iglus properties and management platform.What you will need2-3 years experience covering, financial analysis including income and cash flow modelling, and exposure to real estate investment, valuations, and research experience preferredRelevant experience in the following preferred, property investment fund, property developer, real estate services, superannuation fund, in the property team, financial analysis services; or big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.Strong and/or keen interest in best practice financial modellingDeveloping commercial and negotiation skills.Genuine interest in real estate and capital markets, with curiosity to learn furtherStrong interpersonal and relationship skillsGood written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including preparation of PowerPoint presentationsStrong numeracy and analytical skillsHigh accountability, drive, and commitmentHigh attention to detailWhats in it for you?Join an industry leader in Student AccommodationOpportunity to be a part of business-transforming projectsExposure to a wide range of business experiencesCollaborate with an energetic, dynamic and close-knit teamRecognition for your hard work and outstanding efforts--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------By submitting an application for a role with Iglu you are agreeing to your application being kept on file for up to 12 months for talent pooling purposes.
