This role complements an existing team of Account Managers that are ambitious and talented. You will take a consultative approach to interpreting partner requirements and further developing relationships.You''ll be joining a team with good tenure and an open-door policy who work collaboratively on accounts to achieve the best results for the business.Key Functions Of The Role IncludeAlign the thinking of your customers with the retail landscape by leveraging your knowledgeCarefully articulate the agreed customer plan through field operations to ensure client briefs are accurately developed and executed.Manage the timely implementation of Partner activations and objectivesRegularly report back to Partners on the progress of their projects and activationProvide Data analysis to demonstrate category insights and drive targeted initiativesReport to clients on gains and efficienciesProvide leadership to the field as a brand ambassador, as you keep the team informed about Partner products and activationsIdentify new channel / customer opportunitiesIdentify new areas of business growthKey Selection CriteriaTertiary qualification (desirable)Significant Retail / DIY experiencePrevious experience in sales or account or client management with direct exposure to national home improvement retailersEvidence of managing projects, strategic planning and delivering on time, within budgetSales experience and a natural rapport building abilityCustomer relationship managementExcellent communication skillsAdvanced negotiation skillsIntermediate Excel & PowerPoint skillsThe successful candidate has the potential to progress their career beyond this role through coaching and mentoring from senior managers.
