Due to growth of the business, the company is seeking an Credit Officer to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a welcoming and fast-paced environment within a respectable company that has been in business for many years. This role has scope for growth and long term progression within the firm.Position DescriptionReporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for:Proactively contacting customers to facilitate payment of invoices dueProcessing daily banking / applying customer paymentsShared email inbox management responding to internal/external queriesReconciliation of debtors'' ledgersIdentify and research unapplied cash, contacting customers for remittance advicesResolve invoice related customer queries, or escalate to Accounts Receivable LeadLocate and send out invoice copies and proof of deliveryUpload invoice data into customer portalsProcessing customer refund requestsAssist with customer data maintenance ensuring contact information is accurate and up to dateAssist with month end closing activitiesAssist with assessments of new and existing customersOther related duties as required to support the Credit TeamCandidate ProfileThe successful candidate will have proven Credit experience within a large scale organisation, as well as the following attributes:Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environmentStrong customer service mindset and sound influencing and negotiating skillsResilience in their challenging, high intensity environment, you will need to display composure and patience but bring your sense of humour!Additional BenefitsOffice based in Richmond, close to public transportPlay a key role in the success of the finance teamUpskill and working for a growing businessModern office facilitiesSupportive environment, promoting growth and development of employees, creating a high performance cultureHow To ApplyTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
