GREATER SHEPPARTON BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION INCView all jobsAdd expected salary to your profile for insights.The Greater Shepparton Basketball Association (GSBA) is entering an exciting phase of significant growth and is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and achieve its objectives.This executive-level role is integral to delivering on the GSBAs vision to be a leading, sustainable sporting association that delivers exceptional experiences and fosters strong, safe, and engaged communities. Our mission is to create positive experiences that bring people together through sport.Reporting to the President, Vice President, and working closely with the GSBA Committee of Management and the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of GSBAs strategies and operations.Key Responsibilities:Foster enduring relationships with State and Local Government, other basketball associations, and other interest sporting organisations.Grow domestic and representative basketball and other sports programs.Lead and manage daily operations through a diverse team including staff, volunteers, venue personnel, clubs, and committees.Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with governance frameworks, funding requirements, and operational best practices.Develop and implement strategies that attract major basketball tournaments.Enhance multi-sport facility use to maximise revenue.Candidate Profile:We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking professional with a proven background in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
