This role involves service locating and working around live and fragile assets while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and technical standards. The position requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic site conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance: Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of water infrastructure and equipmentSafety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environmentExcavation: Carefully work around live, old, and fragile services using hand and mechanical excavation toolsPlan Interpretation: Ability to read and understand BYDA PlansDocumentation: Keep accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and repairsCollaboration: Work with project teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomesDurability: Ability to perform manual tasks in the Pilbara region of Northwest WA (FIFO)RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in water utility operations or a related fieldConstruction White Card (mandatory)Current Drivers LicenceSuccessful completion of pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screeningDesirableMR Drivers LicenceExcavator ticketPVC Pipelaying certificationIdentify, Locate and Protect Services ticketWork EnvironmentDrive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO), Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO), and metro roles are available, providing flexibility to suit diverse applicant needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
