We prioritise a positive work environment, committed to safety, professional development, ongoing training, and equal opportunities, ensuring we invest in our employees.About the RoleIn this vital role, you will report directly to the Project Manager, with a secondary reporting line to the Senior WHSEQ Advisor for Building and Construction. Your core purpose will be to provide operational teams with expert assistance in implementing WHSEQ functions at the project level, ensuring a safe workplace for all. You will be instrumental in mentoring and supporting teams, while also driving and monitoring compliance with the companys Business Management Systems across various projects.What You Will DoDrive Safety Program Implementation: Lead the effective implementation of the Safety Program and SIFER tools, ensuring KPI achievement and continuous improvement in safety performance across projects.Mentor and Train Operational Teams: Provide expert guidance and training to operational teams on WHSEQ matters, fostering a proactive safety culture.Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Conduct regular safety assessments and observations, ensure adherence to BMS processes, and assist in developing Project Risk Assessment Registers and WHSEQ Management Plans.Active Site Engagement and Incident Management: Participate in daily site meetings, facilitate workforce feedback, and promptly complete incident investigations to communicate lessons learned and preventative actions.Support Operational WHSEQ Needs: Assist with SWMSs, JSEAs, subcontractor onboarding, and facilitate interactions with unions and regulators.Promote Continuous Improvement: Contribute to WHSEQ communications and bulletins, share positive initiatives, and support audit preparation.What You Will BringMinimum 3 years of experience in WHSEQ.Minimum 5 years of experience in the building and construction industry.Hold a Certificate IV in WHS, a Current Valid Driver''s Licence, a Construction Industry White Card, and a First Aid qualification.
