We value our team''s differences, skills, and experiences and want to continue and grow this passion with a strong People & Culture Team.Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering all operational functions within the People & Culture team, including timely processing of payroll, assisting in recruitment and onboarding processes (such as job postings, interview scheduling, and contract preparation), managing return-to-work processes, and mentoring and coaching managers on employee relations matters.This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, based at our Epping site.Success in this role will depend on the candidate''s ability to partner and collaborate with all business units to achieve optimal outcomes, continuously improve practices to enable growth, and contribute to fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture. Current payroll processing experience and proficient use of Microsoft Excel are highly desirable; previous experience with Ready Workforce (Zambion) would be an advantage.Participate in our Leadership Academy to develop personally and professionally.Benefits include a 5% discount on Health Insurance and discounts on everyday living with brands such as Coles and Woolworths.Key ResponsibilitiesBe proficient in HRM systems to provide payroll backup when necessary, ensuring seamless and accurate payroll operations.Ensure consistency in the delivery of all human resource functions, maintaining high standards and compliance across the organization.Assist in maintaining the efficiency of the administration of People & Culture-related functions, contributing to smooth and effective operations.Participate in the entire recruitment process, from advertisement through onboarding and all associated duties, ensuring a positive candidate experience.Provide reports to the P&C Manager and Chief Performance & Culture Manager on recruitment timelines and retention metrics.Collaborate with and coach managers on recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures, fostering an effective hiring process.Provide timely advice to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary processes, formal complaints, and grievances.Assist in the return-to-work process for injured workers.Travel to various sites may be required.Our ideal candidate will have;3-5 years'' experience in a similar role.Excellent emotional intelligence and communication skills.Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.Current experience in payroll processing is highly desirable.Sound understanding of employment legislation and the ability to interpret it.We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage you to bring your unique perspectives to our team.
