If so, we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Food Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join fulltime in Sydney.More About This RoleYou will be responsible for supporting the onsite Food Safety & Compliance Manager, General Manager Quality Assurance, and Business Manager in maintaining compliance to food safety training and assisting with Food Safety and Halal regulations.In a Nutshell, Your Main Responsibilities AreConduct food safety induction training for all new employees.Facilitate annual food safety refresher training for all employees.Pro-actively assist staff with on-the-job training to ensure all process are followed and documented as required.Provide advice, support and in-depth hands-on training to develop skills and confidence in the team to effectively manage Food Safety/ HACCP and risk prevention in their respective areas of responsibility.Pro-actively address performance issues, by identifying areas of non-conformance, their root cause, and supporting preventative actions.Investigate, report, and analyse customer complaints, including food poisoning allegations and other safety investigations and supplier non-conformances.Provide specialist Food Safety/ HACCP, and Halal advice to external and internal stakeholders as required.Conduct Compliance audits and adhoc food safety tasks in conjunction with the Food Safety / Quality Assurance Manager.What do you need to be successful in securing this role?Previous training experience and demonstrated success in a similar role.Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or similar discipline.Food Safety Auditing (Internal and External).HACCP Qualification.Experience in a food manufacturing environment involving QA, HACCP, Food Safety.Prior experience in working within a team.Prior knowledge / experience in ISO22000:2018 certification.As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.Whats in it for you?Competitive salary.5 weeks annual leave.Free onsite parking, meals, and uniforms.Career development and progression.Be part of a close knit and dedicated team that are committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.Your Prospective EmployerPart of the Emirates Group, we are Australias largest inflight catering and retail partner, food manufacturing and retail, travel retail technology, and airport lounge management.
