Job Description

Position: Lecturer in General Education (Part-Time, Temporary) Salary: Up to $120,651 per annum, with flexible hours and salary sacrifice options Duration: 6 months temporary part-time (0.25 FTE), with potential for extension or permanency, based at Bunbury Campus Work Benefits Salary packaging/sacrifice facility Thirteen weeks paid long service leave after 7 years Fifteen days personal leave Four weeks annual leave Four weeks professional leave Paid parental leave 14 weeks About the Role We seek experienced candidates in General Education to plan, develop, and deliver training and assessment to students. The primary responsibilities include teaching, facilitating learning, assessing, and mentoring students according to curriculum and training package standards. Lecturers are also expected to engage in professional development to stay current with technological and educational advancements. Qualifications and Experience A primary or secondary teaching degree or postgraduate specialization in: Master of Education (TESOL) Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Practice Other relevant postgraduate LLN specialization deemed suitable by Quality Managers Minimum of 5 years lecturing or teaching LLN or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience Additional Information For more about South Regional TAFE, visit our website.
