Based in either Newcastle or the Sunshine Coast - or working flexibly with the ability to attend in-person team gatherings and offices in one of these locations - this is a pivotal role in a fast-moving agency with real variety and impact.Were in a strong growth phase and need someone confident, organised and commercially minded - a doer whos not afraid to roll up their sleeves and pitch in beyond their formal job description when needed.This is the ideal opportunity for someone with 35 years of marketing, digital or creative agency experience looking to take the next step. Youll be across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects - from social media campaigns and paid ads to content production and reporting - and you''ll also support the sales process by qualifying inbound leads (well train you if youre not already confident).What were looking for:Youre likely a marketing generalist with strengths in a particular area, and while you might not be on the tools every day, youre not afraid to jump in to meet a deadline or help a team member.You can confidently manage digital campaigns, liaise with specialists, speak the language of SEO and paid media, and collaborate with internal and external teams. Curiosity, initiative and follow-through matter more than perfection.Key responsibilitiesManage a variety of marketing projects and retainers - on time, on budget, and on briefBuild strong, ongoing client relationships built on trust, clarity and resultsQualify inbound leads and support the sales process (well guide you)Develop scopes, timelines and budgets, and manage any changes smoothlyCoordinate delivery teams (internal and external) to ensure consistent outputKeep clients and stakeholders informed with clear updates and reportingIdentify ways to grow accounts and increase value for the business and clientContribute ideas and improvements to strengthen agency operationsWhat youll bring35 years of experience in a digital, creative or marketing agencyConfidence juggling multiple client accounts and tasks under pressureFamiliarity with key digital marketing services especially paid social and SEMStrong written, verbal, and virtual communication skillsA natural sense of ownership and drive for resultsBonus points for experience with: ActiveCampaign, Teamwork, SEMrush, Agency Analytics, Loomly, XeroA keen interest and open attitude to Ai and automation.Why The Creative Collective?Were a female-led digital agency with offices in two of Australias most vibrant regional hubs, supported by a flexible national team.
