You will play a crucial role leading a team to maximise positive resident outcomes.Working as part of the Allied Health team, Physiotherapists play a crucial role in helping maintain the functional independence of our clients through the delivery of evidence based, active interventions. Your primary role is to build open and respectful relationships with our clients and families and to treat every interaction with a client as an opportunity to bring respect, life, and joy to the relationship.Position SummaryThe Physiotherapist is responsible for helping to improve clients physical, cognitive, and psycho-social functions and to optimise their functional capacity for activities of daily living. Physiotherapists play a crucial role in maximising residents function and quality of life. The Physiotherapist will be part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure a person-centred, evidence-based, continuous quality improvement work environment that is consistent with the values of Arcare.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Allied Health, your role is responsible for ensuring optimal level of function and independence for all clients by:Performing Functional assessments on admission with periodic reviewsDeveloping tailored treatment plansDelivering therapy services in both 1:1 and group settingsAttend to referrals and post-fall reviewsManual handling trainingDocumenting treatment planning and interventionsLeading and supervising Allied Health AssistantsContributing to multi-disciplinary team meetingsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or higherRight to Work in AustraliaReady to ApplyOur people and culture set us apart and our ongoing focus of working together as one team.
