Our purpose is simple together, fight for better health and wellbeing for our community through life-changing medical research and improved healthcare.We''re Looking For Individuals Who PossessBachelor of Social Work (or equivalent) and registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Demonstrated experience (including clinical placements) in the mental health and/or disability field.A sound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, such as Parkinsons Disease and Stroke highly regarded.Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals with complex neurological conditions.Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and community stakeholders.Confident in facilitating educational sessions and community presentations to raise awareness and support.About The RoleReporting to the Allied Health Lead, the Client Wellbeing Practitioner (Social Worker) will provide support to clients of THRFG Parkinsons and Stroke.
