Workfast is looking for experienced multi-skilled plant operators to support ongoing work throughout the Bowen Basin.$58/hr days - $70/hr nights7/7 rotating rostersConstant ongoing positionsWorkfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australias largest and leading building companies. We operate in all states of Australia, and our employees work across various industries. We are actively seeking dedicated multi-skilled mobile plant operators to join our Black Coal Mining team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth and safe operations.Requirements:Minimum 12 months experience in mining or civil earthworksProficiency in operating multiple machines: loader, dozer, grader, excavatorCoal Board Medical (CBM)Standard 11 (S11)Relevant RII competenciesStrong focus on safety, efficiency, and team collaborationKey Responsibilities:Operate a range of equipment including loaders, dozers, graders, and excavatorsHaulage and treatment of reject materials to the DREA emplacement areaPerform compaction and grading of rejects with dozers, graders, compactors, and water trucksMaintain approximately 8 km of haul roads, ensuring safe, stable, and dust-free conditionsConduct pre-start checks, report defects, and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintainedFollow all site safety, environmental, and operational proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members across rotating shiftsBenefits:$58/hr for days and $70/hr for nights$70/hr for overtimeSupportive camp accommodationSurface operations only no underground workLong-term, stable opportunity on a consistent rosterNight shift may be considered on a case-by-case basisAbout us:Workfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia''s largest companies.
