In this role you will apply your leadership skills, specialist payroll knowledge and SAP experience to support the payroll team in a very fast paced environment.Sounds good? Read on:Heres a snapshot of the Payroll Team Lead responsibilities:Processing end-to-end weekly payroll for Endeavour Group employees (circa 30,000) using SAP Employee Central PayrollCompleting post payroll activities including STP reconciliationSupporting, mentoring and upskilling the payroll teamTimely resolution of complex payroll cases and escalations in Service NowReview and validation of termination estimatesIdentifying and implementing process and system improvementsMaintain and manage payroll process and policy documentation as required and actively share knowledge and cross skill team membersIdentify key risk areas and escalate to the Compliance Lead to ensure ongoing payroll governance and complianceWhat do we need from youNow lets talk about you:You will bring to the role a strong knowledge and understanding of Australian PayrollMinimum of 5 years payroll experience with some exposure to a leadership role.Systems experience - SAP ECP is desirable, Service Now and/or UKG is also ideal.Experience working in larger organisations, within a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Australian legislation and award interpretation.Ability to solve complex problems relating to payroll, leave and GL accounts.Excellent time management skills, eye for detail and accuracy.Ability to document and deliver process improvements.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.The benefits are good too!We offer flexible working in every senseAn exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphys, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubsMonthly meeting-free daysYour health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, its our first priority.
