You will lead a skilled production workforce, focus will be on continual development and improvement of our safety culture; we live and breathe safety! Driving quality improvements ensuring customer satisfaction will also be one of your top priorities along with driving the LEAN and continuous improvement methodology, and implementation of strategies to improve production performances.Key ResponsibilitiesImprove engagement and culture through leadership, training and mentorshipLead production employees in ensuring performance levels are always maintainedMaintain timely production schedules and communicate issues or delaysEnsure daily high-quality production completion within agreed productivity benchmarksRoot cause identification and elimination of causes of lost productivityMaintain a strong customer focusAbout YouWere looking to leverage your experience in people management in a manufacturing environment, along with managing and growing the capability of a medium size team of skilled production employees whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement, as key deliverables of this role.
