Collaborative in nature, the role fosters a supportive environment that encourages and supports change and innovation, allowing the Nurse Manager to work alongside key stakeholders from various domains within the broader health sector. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD. Recent experience in patient flow with demonstrated understanding and knowledge of patient flow key performance indicators.Demonstrated ability to identify key clinical issues related to patient flow management where there are opportunities to enhance clinical services or improve health outcomes.Demonstrated senior nursing experience, including leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting, with a proven ability to oversee human, physical, and financial resources to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive quality care.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team and to represent the nursing service inside and outside the organisation.Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes.Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.Need more information?Click here for the Position DescriptionFind out more about applying for this positionAdditional InformationSalary PackagingSouth Western Sydney Local Health District employees are able to enjoy the benefits of salary packing.
