We offer a supportive environment where every team members contribution is valued, and we encourage growth and development within the organisation.About The RoleAs a gardener, you will play an essential role in the maintaining Council''s parks, cemeteries, public spaces and reserves across the Shire. This position involves both collaborative teamwork and independent decision making.Some Of The Key Responsibilities In This Role IncludeMaintain garden beds, sports fields, and open spaces by mowing, slashing, trimming, tree pruning, and weed spraying.Care for lawns/turf and operate irrigation systems to keep our public spaces lush and green.Identify and control plant diseases, pests, and other threats to ensure healthy landscapes.Participate in landscape design and construction activities to create vibrant outdoor public spaces.Ensure all equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles, are operated and maintained correctly.For further information please refer to the attached Position Description.About YouWe are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for gardening.
