The Haven residences are staffed 7 days a week and designed like a home away from home funded through clients NDIS packages with practice guided by Minds Model of Recovery Oriented Practice, Haven service model and Dual Disability framework. The service works collaboratively with clients providing personalised 1:1 support, shared supports and group activities based on strengths and goals identified in an individuals recovery plan to build daily living skills, strengthen relationships with families and carers, enhance social connections and community networks, and grow confidence and capacity to live safely in the community.We are a seeking compassionate, resilient Mental Health Support Workers, to work on a 24/7 rotating roster including sleepover shifts within the Haven property. You will play an integral role providing positive person-centred, recovery-oriented supports to clients to achieve their wellbeing goals, develop capacity and life skills, strengthen social connections, enhance support networks and grow confidence to live independently.Key responsibilitiesDeliver high quality services and facilitate positive educational and social experiences.Support clients to return to their community, live independently and enjoy a meaningful life through a staged approach to recovery.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team offering specialised psychosocial support.Plan and deliver group programs that aid clients to build their skills and focus on recovery.Collaborate with a range of services and the community to ensure a co-ordinated, integrated response to clients recovery goals.Assist clients with personal care tasks where required.What youll bringTertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate III) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health-related field.Expertise in working with people with mental health issues, complex needs and interacting with families and carers.Ability to provide information and mentoring to build capability, establish social relationships, create community networks and access to relevant services.Experience in facilitating group activities for clients experiencing mental ill health is desirable.Understanding of the Community Services sector and ability to build strong relationships with service providers, clinical teams and key stakeholders.Current Drivers Licence.Current First Aid and CPR certifications and ability to perform these duties as required as part of the role.Salary packaging up to $15,900 p.a. allows you to allocate a portion of your pre-tax income to cover living expenses (e.g. rent, mortgage, child care, car leasing expenses etc.)Option to access Meal and Entertainment allowance up to $2,650 p.a. via Salary Packaging.Learning, development and career opportunities.Interested?To obtain a position description and apply online visit Mind Careers - Reference number 497693 Online applications must be submitted by 11pm Monday 23 June 2025.
