We support those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women, and young people. Accommodation is more than shelter; it should be welcoming and supportive, fostering development and comfort. At Changing Lives, we offer a home, not just a shelter.About The JobThe Support Worker plays a vital role by providing information, advice, and guidance. Through referrals and direct support, they help service users achieve independence and address interconnected issues that brought them to our services.Your Key Activities Will IncludeBuilding relationships with individuals accessing our services, either one-on-one or in groupsSupporting, listening, guiding, and signposting service users to appropriate resources for managing their environmentProviding personal support to individuals or groups to enhance their wellbeingConducting regular safety inspections, identifying risks, and responding or repairing as neededMaintaining building standards, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with legal requirementsEmpowering service users to develop life skills through workshops or referrals to external agenciesUpdating reports and documentation in line with policies, ensuring confidentiality and data protection #J-18808-Ljbffr
