Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.In this position, you will supervise a specialised team to maintain medical equipment across SLHD by providing repair, testing and preventative maintenance services (AS3551), whilst providing biomedical engineering expertise to other team members. To schedule work in the position holders area of responsibility and to ensure all services are documented. To provide and/or coordinate in-service training to BME staff/clinical staff.For more information, please view the Position Description.Ideal CandidatePossess an Associate Diploma or higher in Biomedical/Info-System/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.Proven track record of experience in repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment in public healthcare. Knowledge of Australian Standards and practical experience in the implementation of AS3551.Possess experience in supporting clinical/ renal/ radiation oncology equipment.Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable) or subject to obtaining a NSW Drivers Licence within 3 months of appointment.Benefits and Perks!Accrued Day Off each month, paid Parental Leave. & Annual Leave loading.Opportunity for extra tax savings through Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing.
