Being responsible to assist Chief Steward for HACCP Standards.Taking ownership of all Food & Beverage back of house areas and common usage spaces.Key Deliverables and ResponsibilitiesOrganize the store efficiently and maintain high hygiene standards.Ensure cleanliness in all storage areas, including shelves and chillers.Assist during vegetable receiving.Sanitize vegetables & Fruits and transfer to Vegetable storageArrange vegetables properly in the designated chiller, following standard procedures.Regularly monitor storage temperatures of chillers, freezers & dry store.Record temperature readings diligently.Communicate any temperature variations immediately to the Engineering Department and Department Head.Adhere to HACCP procedures and policies to ensure food safety.Assist in maintaining the FIFO and FIFEO inventory systems.Help in issuing food items to F&B outlets and kitchens based on approved requests from the Executive Chef.Report activities and any issues to the BOH Manager / Stewarding Department HeadQualificationsPrevious relevant experience similar role within the hospitality industry is required.High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or hospitality management are preferred.Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles.Knowledge of cleaning processes and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping.Additional InformationAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands and work schedules.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
