Including admitting patients completing reception duties and delivering exceptional customer service. A key component of the role is ensuring patient confidentiality is always preserved.Create patient records and complete all necessary information accurately and in line with current proceduresAdmit patients accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain a high level of customer service by handling patient enquires via telephone and in person, in an efficient, professional, and caring mannerArrange appointments for patients as requested by clinical staffThe classification for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($58,442 - $64,610 per annum pro rata)Your ContributionPrevious administration experience in a health settingKnowledge of medical terminologyKnowledge of private health fund billing and public health fundingKnowledge of Patient Administration SystemsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently in a multidisciplinary teamAdvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent customer service skillsA valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check, or willing to obtainWhat We OfferA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.
