With a strong footprint across the region and ongoing internal growth, they are now looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their collaborative and high performing finance team.The roleReporting to the Financial Controller and working within a team, you will be responsible for:Preparing profit and loss statements, journals, accruals, and general ledger reconciliationsPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of financial reportsManaging assigned venues, liaising directly with venue managers to ensure accurate financial reportingPreparing quarterly BAS submissionsReconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operationsThe Candidate3 years experience as an Assistant Accountant or similarAccounting degreeExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent workExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentOutstanding interpersonal skills and examples of prior stakeholder management experience.Experience in Definitive is highly desirableIf youre ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to a high-impact, values-driven organisation, Id love to hear from you.
