This vital outreach program supports young people aged 1225 who are at risk of or experiencing a first episode of psychosis.Youll work within a supportive multi-disciplinary team to deliver assertive community-based care, conducting biopsychosocial assessments and delivering brief interventions.Role OverviewThe overall aims of clinical care within the Mobile Assessment and Treatment Team service will includeDeliver assertive outreach support in community and home settings.Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and provide evidence-based mental health interventions.Detect early signs of psychosis and intervene proactively.Engage with young people and their families to promote recovery and prevent deterioration.Work on a rotating shift roster (with loadings for evenings/weekends).Travel between Mount Druitt, Penrith, and Parramatta as well as community locations.Collaborate with social workers, psychologists, nurses, and medical staff.About You:Qualifications & RegistrationDegree-qualified in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or Occupational TherapyEligible for AHPRA registration or appropriate professional body membershipFull Drivers LicenceExperience & Skills5+ years in mental health, with strong community and outreach experienceExpertise in conducting assessments, crisis intervention, and care planningClinical leadership experience and staff supervision skillsDeep understanding of early psychosis models and youth developmentFamiliarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Mental Health Act, CYPCPA)Why Join Us?
