We are looking for a self-starter confident to quickly learn and be capable to be self-sufficient for and end-to-end Procurement Specialist role.Join a global business in the industrial sector, this role has a key focus on the procurement of categories such as transportation, logistics, engineering and maintenance, for the business across Australia and New Zealand.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Sourcing Plans: Analyse market trends and business needs to design effective sourcing strategies for transportation, logistics, engineering and maintenance services for the business across AustraliaSupplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Negotiation and Contracting: Contract negotiations to secure favourable terms while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.Specialised Contracts: Oversee contracts related to road and sea freight, the transportation of hazardous materials and industrial gases, and the delivery of materials for new plant construction projects.
