The role will be a permanent position reporting directly to our Head of Retail Partnerships & Governance.About The RoleAs a Retail Governance Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance program within our Retail Team, therefore Life Insurance Product knowledge is essential. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of life insurance processes.Your role will involve monitoring, assessing, and providing feedback to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers, clients, and organization. This position is essential for maintaining high standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Duties And ResponsibilitiesYour tasks will include reviewing calls, files, scripts, and other materials, analyzing findings, and providing reports with actionable insights. You will also design and implement monitoring activities, develop reports, monitor partners'' adherence to contractual obligations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.Effective communication and engagement through face-to-face and virtual interactions are key aspects of this role.Assess and evaluate both internal and external quality assurance programs to ensure alignment with organisational goalsProvide constructive feedback to continuously develop the quality assurance programConduct regular monitoring activities to agreed standard and timelines to ensure process adherenceActivities will include reviewing calls, files, scripts and other materials and data which form part of the monitoring programAnalyse findings from monitoring activities and provide comprehensive reports with actionable insights to Retail Management, Compliance and other relevant business areasWhere required, design and implement monitoring activities and the supporting tools, including investigating options for automation to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of quality assuranceDevelop other reporting as requiredMonitor partners adherence to contractual obligationsBuild and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEffectively communicate findings and foster engagement through face-to-face and virtual interactionsYou come equipped withExperience & Qualifications5+ years life insurance experience in quality assurance in sales and/or customer serviceSound knowledge of the Life Insurance regulatory environment including the Life Insurance Code of PracticeDemonstrated experience monitoring third parties delivering sales, service & claims alongside QA, call monitoring and governance control testing (not IT testing)Advanced level MS Office skillsRG146 compliant or prepared to obtain the qualificationExperience auditing/reviewing and providing concise reporting in a regulatory environment whilst effectively managing partner relationshipsExcellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectivelyClear and effective communication, both written and verbalStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as a team and with minimal supervisionStrong knowledge of life insurance productsPersonal QualitiesStrategicResourcefulHighly self-motivatedProfessionalVersatileDiplomaticIt is a requirement that all applicants have unlimited rights to work in Australia i.e. must either be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency.What Do We Offer YouAre our values Responsibility, Drive and We-Spirit aligned with yours?
