This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the implementation and delivery of high-quality clinical trials and research projects.About the roleYou will play a vital role in the implementation and review of clinical trial protocols, ensuring laboratory compliance, and maintaining scientific rigor throughout the research process. You will be responsible for providing expert laboratory support and guidance to a range of stakeholders, managing trial samples and consumables, conducting data analysis and reporting, and ensuring accurate financial management of research projects.A regular day in the role will see you:Implement and review of clinical trial policies, protocols, and procedures, ensuring laboratory setup and scientific rigor.Perform data extraction, statistical analysis, and reporting for clinical trials, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.Manage clinical trial finances by maintaining schedules of fees, preparing cost schedules, financial agreements, and ensuring cost recovery for research projects.Monitor and manage samples and consumables for clinical trials, including batch testing, result collation, and inventory oversight.Foster positive relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving enquiries.About youYou are a detail-oriented and proactive scientist with a passion for clinical research and pathology. With a strong background in laboratory operations and experience in clinical trials or research environments, you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.You are highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and are confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
