This role is pivotal in driving growth across key customer segments including plumbers, builders, architects, developers, and the health and aged care sectors.Based at our Prestons location, you will be responsible for developing and executing state-wide strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.Some of the key responsibilities you will have include:Lead and develop the state sales team to deliver commercial and care segment growth.Build strong, hands-on relationships with plumbers (Tier 1 & 2, maintenance, commercial, and residential).Develop strategic partnerships with builders, developers, architects, and care sector stakeholders.Align and implement business plans across customer groups to meet growth and volume targets.Oversee the full sales cyclefrom lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure aligned customer engagement.Drive regional business development initiatives and negotiate effective pricing and agreements.Manage budgets, monitor variances, and recommend corrective actions.Lead cross-functional collaboration across states to ensure consistent national customer support.Conduct regular pipeline and order bank reviews, ensuring CRM accuracy and opportunity progression.Leverage Akuna CRM insights to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing, purpose-driven sales team.Provide mentoring and development opportunities to build future sales leaders.You can expect to:Lead a critical growth segment in a respected, industry-leading organisation.Work with a passionate and collaborative team.Enjoy opportunities for career progression and professional development.Make a tangible impact on the commercial and care sectors across NSW.About YouYou will bring:Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the plumbing, building, or construction industry.Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders from plumbers to senior executives.Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on, tactical execution.Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high-performing teams.Strong commercial acumen and experience in pipeline and budget management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales planning.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldor equivalent experience.If youre a strategic sales leader ready to take on a high-impact role, wed love to hear from you.About usAt GWA, we''re not just a companywe''re a supportive community committed to making everyday water experiences extraordinary.
