You will play a key role in evaluating ICT systems against the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) guidelines, while contributing to real-world solutions that protect Australias most critical digital assets.This position is based in our main office in Barton, Canberra, but we are open to a hybrid work model for the right candidate. If youre passionate about security, thrive on problem-solving, and enjoy the occasional (cyber) war story over coffee - youll fit right in.Key Responsibilities:Conduct or assist with IRAP assessments aligned with ACSC and ISM standardsSupport the review of security controls and the development of documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Risk Management Plans (SRMPs) and Security Assessment Plans (SAPs) and Reports (SARs)Engage directly with government and critical infrastructure clients to build positive rapportIdentify and report on control effectiveness, compliance gaps, and risk mitigation strategiesIdentify and report on control effectiveness, compliance gaps, and risk mitigation strategiesCollaborate with certified IRAP Assessors to gain practical insights and work towards your own accreditation (if appropriate)Stay current on relevant frameworks, emerging threats, and updates in regulatory guidance.Who You AreWe''re open to both junior and experienced IRAP Assessors for this position, so dont be shy if you''re still on the accreditation path - we offer a clear career trajectory and tailored mentoring.
