Our mission is to empower automotive enthusiasts using technology.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Payroll and HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team on a part-time basis working Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will report to the Human Resources Manager, with duties including:PAYROLL PROCESSINGComplete payroll processing fortnightly using BundyCommunicate with employees regarding incomplete timesheetsSend production overtime summaries to Operations Managers for approvalProcess and prepare Excel templates for the Payroll ProviderSend payroll reports to the Payroll ProviderReview payroll reports and make necessary adjustmentsPayroll approval and processing paymentsRespond to employee queries about pay, leave, etc.Ensure payroll data accuracySet up new employees in the payroll systemPrepare payroll journal entriesReview year-end reports from the Payroll ProviderInvestigate employee payroll queriesPerform payroll reconciliationCalculate back payments as neededManage payroll for NZ in coordination with payroll agentsPrepare monthly payroll reconciliation to the Payroll GL AccountPrepare annual reconciliation of hours against award ratesPrepare payroll journals for all entities except the USA, monitoring USA payrollPrepare and submit payroll tax and superannuation lodgements, providing journals to FinancePrepare leave provisions monthly and report to managersHR ADMINISTRATIONSupport recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboardingCollaborate with hiring managers on staffing needsAddress employee relations issues and foster positive work environmentAssist with performance appraisal administrationSupport employee benefits administrationAddress employee inquiries and benefits enrollmentEnsure compliance with labour laws and HR best practicesAssist in HR policy development and implementationADMINISTRATIONManage stationery and office supplies weeklyOrder groceries weeklyOrganize food and beverages for meetings and eventsABOUT YOUMinimum 3 years of experience in PayrollTHE OFFERHaltech offers a competitive salary package and staff benefits.
