We are an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (WGEA) and a member of the Champions of Change Coalition for the advancement of gender equality in Australia.This is a new role within the ASX Enterprise Customer and Operations function, responsible for managing and supporting the Business Resiliency framework and strategy, specifically in regards to running the work streams of Discovery, implementation, education, oversight and assessment of a new enterprise-wide Business resiliency framework.You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Business Resilience, line 1 business and technical SMEs, General Managers and Executive Management to ensure appropriate governance, challenge, rigour, and reporting. Primary focus and outcome is building and managing a clear line of sight view to inform executives of all gaps in resiliency across their LOBs.What Youll DoSupport the function to deliver an enterprise-wide framework and reasonable steps regime for Business resilience, working closely with line 1 and line 2 personnel, SMEs and executive management.Work with and support executive management and general managers in developing and maintaining a fit-for-purpose line of sight for all resiliency gaps across their LOBs.Establish and ensure a roadmap for key accountability practices and focus areas as required (e.g. governance, risk management, BCP, reporting and escalation, breach reporting, people management, operations, technology, change management, issue remediation, assurance)Contribute to the development, and embedding of business resiliency, in particular to support monitoring and reporting to the Executive and Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) on ASXs Business resiliency risks, progress and achievements.Support development and rollout of risk governance education and awareness, and promote, champion and embed continuous improvement and adoption of best practice for ASX Business resiliencyAssist in efforts to promote best practice Business resiliency, including risk culture, throughout ASXWhat Youve DoneExcellent relationship management skills with senior management, specifically in a line 1 or line 2 risk management roleGood working knowledge of Business resilience priorities and frameworksExtensive experience in applying and implementing a demonstrable program of minimum standards for effective risk management capability and governance and associated best practice processes, ideally within financial services, and/or a critical infrastructure sectorAbility to grasps key concepts quickly and be prepared to challenge the status quo (in particular as part of assessment against a reasonable steps/minimum requirements framework)Experience in planning, collation, aggregation and facilitation of information and reportingAnd if youve got some of this, even better:Experience in delivery of accountability mapping and accountability statement obligationsExperience in a risk and/or compliance challenge and advisory environment to identify gaps and drive better practiceKnowledge and/or experience in an exchange, trading and/or clearing and settlement technology, processes and other critical infrastructure servicesWhat you need to enjoy and be good at for this role:Very good communication, with proven ability to influence and challenge ay the most senior levelOrganised and diligent, with commitment to accuracy and qualityAbility to collaborate and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver a common goalAn engaging manner, with a passion for risk managementMotivated self-starter and disciplined time managerAbility to manage concurrent work streams across a range of subject areasA forward thinker and solution drivenWe make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how youll help us to live our values.
