Direct message the job poster from East PartnershipOur client, a top ranked global investment bank with deep capabilities in advisory, capital markets and financing, is looking to appoint an experienced Associate to join their capital advisory business in Sydney.This key role within the team will support senior bankers to deliver bespoke, independent financing advice and execution support to their valued clients, with a particular focus on the infrastructure sector.This is a unique opportunity to work across high-profile and complex financings, spanning acquisition finance, infrastructure and energy project funding and structured capital solutions, working closely with the internal product and coverage teams.Responsibilities include:Structuring and executing debt mandates, including capital structure analysis, acquisition financing, refinancing, liability management, and other bespoke financing solutionsConducting financial modelling and credit benchmarkingPreparing high-impact client materials and participating in the end-to-end advisory and execution processPartnering across global product and sector teams to deliver seamless cross-border solutions for clientsTracking trends in the private and public debt markets, and developing insights into investor appetite, credit markets, and macroeconomic driversThe successful candidate will have c.4-7 years of prior experience in investment banking, project finance or debt advisory, with strong technical and financial modelling capabilities.
