Join to apply for the Contract Administrator role at The University of Western Australia1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Contract Administrator role at The University of Western AustraliaJoin an improvement focused Procurement team.Play a key role in the transformation of UWAs approach to contract management.Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.Base salary range $100,524 $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.Join an improvement focused Procurement team.Play a key role in the transformation of UWAs approach to contract management.Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.Base salary range $100,524 $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.About The AreaThe role of Finance is to support the appropriate stewardship of the Universitys finance through the provision of strategic financial advice, establishment of a financial management framework, financial management tools, procurement, management of the Universitys Investment and Endowment portfolio, as well as financial oversight and accountability for finance and human resources administrative and transactional operations.Finance undertakes this role through three core pillars: Financial Compliance, Financial Performance and Procurement.In undertaking this role, Finance provides support across the University, from advising the Vice-Chancellery, Executive and Senior leadership team on strategy and performance to supporting staff and students in their purchases and travel arrangements.About The OpportunityYou will provide procurement contract administration support, ensuring accurate records are maintained, contractual obligations are met, and risks associated with procurement activities are mitigated.Work closely with other Finance and Procurement staff to drive value for money, compliance with legal requirements and University policies, operational efficiency, and sustainability across the contract lifecycle.Be responsible for leading the implementation of a new contract lifecycle management system (CLMS) and thereafter the ongoing optimisation and administration.About YouA tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. business, finance, supply chain management), or demonstrated equivalent competency.Substantial relevant experience in procurement and / or contract administration, including a high level of understanding of contract terms and conditions, contracting processes, contract administration, contract management and related systems.Strong knowledge of contracting processes, systems, terminology, and risk mitigation strategies.Demonstrated experience interpreting commercial contract terms.Special RequirementsA current National Police Clearance Certificate and Finance Checks will be conducted.Position description: PD - Contract Administrator (520350).docxTo learn more about this opportunity, please contact Emma Gillespie, Head of Procurement, emma.gillespie@uwa.edu.auHow To ApplyPlease apply online via the Apply Now button.
