The OpportunityThis isnt cushy project management. This is a new plant launch at full throttle.Youll lead the full setup, commissioning, and ramp-up of our new 3,000m Abrasiguard plant in Perth everything from equipment install to first production and full-scale output. Youll have a small project team including Workshop Manager and Manufacturing Engineer. Plus you''ll be backed by our Brisbane-based engineering and manufacturing teams. This is a flagship project central to our growth strategy.Deliver a complete manufacturing plant install, commissioning, launch, ramp-up. Fast-track first production by end September, full ramp-up by November. Build a legacy lead the setup & launch of our 2nd plant, critical to future growth.The RoleThis is a two-phase role setting up, launching, and ramping a new manufacturing plant.Phase 1 Setup & Commissioning (03 months): Own the project plan stay ahead of critical path. Lead internal project team plus external contractors. Collaborate closely with Brisbane-based manufacturing engineering team. Facility & equipment fit-out, site prep, services, install, commissioning. People & process hiring, training, systems, safety, quality, all ready to run. Get the plant live and ready to ramp to full-scale production.Phase 2 Ramp-Up & Execution (36 months + extension opportunities): Run production trials refine flow, methods, and process in real time. Ramp-up production rate resolve breakdowns, bottlenecks, and process issues daily. Hit nameplate capacity by end November no delays, no excuses. Lead production of first major client project on spec, on time, in full. Track performance safety, quality, production, cost. Handover - develop team to take over day-to-day operations.Additional Scope Facility Upgrades (to run concurrently):You''ll also manage two additional facility upgrades (within 5min of new plant): Warehouse upgrade (~4,500m, $11.5m scope). Office refurbishment (~1,500m, $22.5m scope).Who You AreYoure not a bystander. Assertive and composed thrives under pressure.You''re not: A corporate project manager if youd rather report on problems than fix them, this isnt for you. A delegator if your default is to push problems onto someone else, you''ll struggle here. A clock-watcher if you''re cruising or coasting, this project will steamroll you.What Youve Done 10+ years in capital project delivery for manufacturing. Full greenfield plant setups or major expansions. Led teams across install, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
