Role overview:We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager with strong leadership & communication abilities to guide their team towards achieving sales & KPI targets whilst providing unparalleled service.Responsibilities:Supporting the Store Manager in effectively running all store operations to ensure meeting or exceeding sales & KPI targets. Setting clear sales goals, tracking performances whilst evolving processes to ensure continuous store growth.Creating a positive team culture through recruiting, training & continuously developing your staff. Building a motivated and high performing team, increasing chances of store success.Analysing sales data and financial reports to make quick and well-informed decisions alongside the Store Manager, identifying and responding to areas of opportunityOperationally & Commercially.Act as the point of contact for colleagues in the managers absence.Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.Help manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.Support cash management tasks, such as processing transactions and reconciling tills.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.Provide feedback and coaching to colleagues to improve performance.Support the Store Manager in maintaining colleague schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivityRole objectives and KPIs:Contribute to achieving or exceeding the stores monthly sales target.Driveall additionalKPIs including but not limited to Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.Achieve upselling or cross-selling targets.Maintain a high Net Promotor Score.Ensure stock accuracy during store Audits.Ensure all new colleagues complete mandatory training required.Ensure employee satisfaction stores or engagement survey results meet or exceed company benchmarks.Assist in keeping operational costs within the allocated budgetSkills and Experience:Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced Retail/ Customer Facing environmentPassionate about retail & hold a good understanding of the latest trends and our competitorsPrevious experience of coaching and developing individualsStrong communication skillsProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIsExperience in analysing KPIs data to making commercial decisionsKeen eye for detail & commerciality.
