You will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in the groups financial operations as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team.What would a day in the life look like for you?Prepare financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and internal deadlines.Analyse financial data, including variance analysis, to support informed decision-making.Assist in developing budgets and cashflow forecasts and monitor performance against budget.Lead and supervise the finance team in day-to-day operations.Oversee and direct the accounting team in the processing of fortnightly payroll.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to provide financial guidance and support.We would love for you to have:Professional Accounting qualification such as CA or CPABachelors degree in accounting, Finance or a related fieldMinimum of five years financial accounting experience desiredProactivity, confidence, and the ability to work on several projects simultaneouslyStrong self-motivation and time management skillsWhen you join our band (company):We believe in building a workplace that works with you.
