In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking a Production Clerk to support our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC).Reporting to the Scheduler, you will support the Joint Logistics Unit Victoria (JLU-V) to ensure effective work order management practices are implemented to support Defence maintenance activities. This is a full-time, permanent role based at Puckapunyal (Seymour).What You''ll Be DoingProviding administrative support to tradespersons.Assisting with ordering and expediting repair parts.Identifying continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.Using Commonwealth systems for work order management, parts ordering, and receipting.Supporting planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.Administering Supply Customer Accounts.Conducting office administration tasks.Liaising with internal and external equipment owners regarding job calls.About YouExperience in administrative functions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with databases.Workshop environment experience is highly desirable.Accurate ordering, receipting, and distribution of spare parts skills.Ability to read and interpret orders.Exceptional attention to detail.You must be an Australian Citizen, able to maintain a Defence clearance, and pass an Australian Federal Police Check.DiversityVentia values diverse experiences, talents, and cultures.
