As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and pastries while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and quality standardsAssist the Chef de Partie in managing daily bakery operations and production schedulesEnsure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all timesCollaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and serviceMonitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the Chef de PartieTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and proceduresContribute to menu development by suggesting new bakery items and improvements to existing recipesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficientlyQualificationsCulinary degree or diploma, preferably with a focus on baking and pastry arts2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a strong background in baking and pastryProficiency in various baking techniques and pastry preparationExcellent knowledge of food safety practices and current Food Safety CertificationStrong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistencyAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsCreativity and passion for developing new bakery items and improving existing recipesAdditional InformationBeing a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
