The Role: As a Non-Executive Director (NED), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, governance, and performance of organisations across various industries. Your wealth of experience will guide companies to achieve long-term success and navigate complex challenges. Key Responsibilities: Provide independent oversight and strategic guidance to senior management. Contribute to shaping the companys strategic objectives, risk management, and governance processes. Ensure that the organisations operations align with its long-term vision and goals. Offer expertise to enhance corporate performance, innovation, and sustainability. Participate in board meetings and committees, providing valuable input and constructive feedback. Maintain a strong focus on corporate responsibility, ethics, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Requirements: At least 20 years of technical or commercial experience in a senior leadership or advisory role. Proven track record of success in executive management, strategic planning, and governance. Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks and best practices. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to bring fresh perspectives and unbiased judgement to the boardroom. Prior experience as a Non-Executive Director is advantageous but not essential. Management Qualifications Required: MBA, Executive Leadership, or relevant senior management qualifications recognised in Australia (e.g. Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent).
