What you''ll do - Chief Technology Officer As Hireups Chief Technology Officer, you will be an outstanding technologist committed to using technology for good and ensuring our clients and workers have access to the very best possible tools and systems. You will be a strategic leader who can get into the detail and empowers your team to thrive. You excel in developing, implementing and managing all aspects of an organisation''s technology with breadth across traditional software engineering approaches while also demonstrating a deep understanding of the transformative potential of AI in the care economy. You will: Be accountable for developing, communicating and executing a vision and strategy for Hireups technology with a focus on the transformational potential of AI; Be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and participate in the development of Hireup''s company strategy, ensuring technology objectives are aligned with business objectives; Build, lead and empower a strong team of technology leaders and practitioners who continually improve and deliver value to our community; Partner closely with the Head of Product to ensure that technology solutions are of high-quality, feasible and delivered; Proactively monitor operational execution across technology to ensure we are optimised, delivering effectively and driving towards transformational change where needed - including by building up Hireups capability around AI; Be accountable for actively measuring, monitoring, and continuously improving the performance and reliability of the Hireup platform; Ensure Hireups system architecture exhibits low coupling and high cohesion and that Hireups architecture is able to support existing requirements as well as being extensible enough to evolve to meet future scale/requirements. Your Background 5+ years experience as a Chief Technology Officer or senior technology role; Experience working as part of an executive leadership team highly desired; Expertise in work management methodologies, including both Agile and traditional; Experience developing medium to long term (3-5 years) objectives, policies, and procedures for the organisation; Experience in implementing AI driven solutions to increase the efficiency of the technology function and improve customer experience; Experience leading multiple teams of managers, coaching them to lead their team in a values aligned and performance driven way Experience in full end-to-end software delivery; Commercial and operations experience i.e. managing production workloads; Knowledge of OKR framework; Understanding of latest innovations in the development of AI; Why should you join?
