The roles will be day cover as well as extended cover for teachers on annual leave. This role involves teaching students from Year 7 to Year 10 across a range of subjects, English, Maths, Arts, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver engaging lessons across primary and/or secondary subjectsAdapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.Support students in their academic progress and overall well-being.Collaborate with staff and follow curriculum guidelines.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Proven experience in teaching at the secondary school level, 7-12, and also specialist subjects would be highly regardeDemonstrated ability to teach a wide range of subjects effectively and engage students with diverse learning needs.Excellent classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and disciplined learning environment.Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to monitor and report on student progress accurately.Proficient in using educational technologies and creative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Passionate about education and committed to the holistic development of young learnerCreative and innovative in teaching approaches, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.Patient, empathetic, and understanding, with a strong ability to support students emotional and social well-being.Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.Collaborative team player who works well with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.Resilient and adaptable, able to handle challenges and changes within the educational environmentQUALIFICATIONS:A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalenAccreditation with NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority).Valid Working with Children CheckSAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
